The funeral was such a wonderful service. I have never been so moved by a musical number in my life than I was moved when Bret Morrell played How Great Thou Art. It was the most beautiful piece I have ever heard and that is a lot to say because I am ALL about music! I have never seen a veteran's funeral service, it was quite the experience. Grandpa Morrell lived a lot longer than all of us thought. I know that he is happy because he is finally with the love of his life. He had been looking for her for about nine years now, I can't imagine being away from Dave that long.I saw a lot of faces that I hadn't seen in a very long time. A lady there said something to me the night before, "You have been to too many funerals in your lifetime." It is so true and it made me feel such sorrow for myself. I wondered how exactly she knew that.
